At Downer we follow a strategic approach to procurement which is underpinned by a common framework and set of tools and supported by a team of procurement professionals.
Downer has a number of preferred supplier agreements (PSA's) with suppliers at a divisional and group level. From time to time or as required, we issue tender documents for the supply of products and services.
Value for money is at the core of all Downers’ relationships with suppliers of goods and services. Value for money does not just mean the lowest price. We balance all relevant factors including initial cost, whole of life costs, quality, reliability, and responsiveness to determine value for money.
